If anyone follows Twista (real name Carl Terrell Mitchell) you know he has been looking for his friend/bodyguard Davy Easterling. Well unfortunately the body of Davy Easterling AKA 6'9 was found shot and burned on the South Side of Chicago on Friday February 21,2014. According to news reports he died of multiple gunshot wounds. Easterling was found in an apartment about 6 a.m. Friday in the 8300 block of South Baker Avenue.
Police currently have no suspects and started conducting the homicide investigation. The Fire Department's Office of Fire Investigations also determined that the fire was incendiary,meaning that it was started by a person, said Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford on Saturday.
Friday Twista posted on Instagram that 6'9 was missing, "My friend and security guard has been missing for the past 48hrs, his name is 6'9. If you have any information on where he is please call 888-679-9611.”
Twista got on Instagram 2/22/14 to express his sadness about the death of his friend, "#RIP Davy Easterling aka 6'9 I have lost too many good friends to these streets.”
