Let’s not act like we didn’t see this entertainment diva everywhere from magazine covers, number one videos to fashion ads throughout 2008. It seems as if we cannot escape her, not that we would ever want to. Renown Pop star and spokes-model for Gucci’s Tattoo Heart Collection Rihanna, gives back to children in need. During the Holiday season Gucci will donate 25% of sales from their Tattoo Heart Collection to the UNICEF program. The UNICEF program supports orphans and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. Gucci says it best with their Tattoo Heart campaign slogan, “Make a permanent mark: Help save children’s lives.” Can we say perfect timing? What’s Trina Selling Now
Floridian rap star Trina also known as the Diamond Princess has launched her new clothing line, Pink Diamond Couture. Her collection carries jeans, jackets, dresses,tunics and a flashy sequin collection. The Pink Diamond Couture line features classic cuts with embellishments added to give them that extra touch. Some of the collections pieces have bling, others have messages while some pieces are known for their “easy access”. PDC jeans come in various styles, most showcasing the collections logo on the back pockets. Trina decided to mimic the tattoo on her lower back to create the PDC logo stating that she wanted the line to be personal in every way possible. Rappers Trade in their Rags for Scarves
Scarfs have been crowned the new accessory in hip hop; one may say that they have become one of hip hops must wear pieces of jewelry. Stars like Kayne West, Rihanna, Jay Z, Pharell and Little Wayne have been spotted rocking their fashion scarves. Even TI made a song with Swizz Beats about swinging our Gucci and Louis Vuitton scarves in the air. While TI and Swizz rocked their scarves in the back pocket of their jeans, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana chose to simply throw their Louis scarves over the head and call it a day. Fashion scarves carry no rules and can be worn in various ways to create the look that best fits you.
