I recently came across this video on youtube and decided it was something I had to share with you all. Now I am fully aware that everyone isn’t “fashion forward” but there are certain ground rules that need to be set. Lauren Conrad addresses these matters in the video listed below.

The first point she made is about the dreaded kitten heel aka what I like to call, the 8th grade prom heel. Now the kitten heel is cute, if your age 6 and under— other than that it is definitely a no no. Ladies please do yourself a favor and stop wearing these, they are in no way, shape, or form attractive. Its either your wearing flats or heels, there should never be an in between.

Second we move on to men wearing jean shorts (jorts). Now I am not totally opposed to “Jorts”, but I despise when they are too short. Men shouldn’t wear them in daisy duke length though— that is just ridiculous. Lauren also goes in on men wearing skinny jeans. I like jeans tailored to fit on men, but it should not look painted on, its not attractive.

Last but not least please dont think it’s ok to go out with your friend that looks a hot mess. If they are really your friend you will honestly help them where thy fall short. Anyways check out the video of Lauren Conrads PSA below.
