For decades black woman have been known for their hair! This year Essence Magazine November issue is celebrating their “Hair Anniversary”! Its been stated for years that your hair is your strength, whether its natural, permed, relaxed, braided, straitened, dyed, or fried! When it comes to a woman and her hair, it can make or break us sorry to say!? For instance “Hey girl, are you going out tonight?!” she responds “No i don’t have my hair done girl”? lol! Who are you to try to convince her otherwise when you know exactly when she’s coming from.

Personally I believe hair and fashion go hand in hand! Hair in the past couple of years has been very unpredictable? We’ve seen the rise of the Bobs…Lacefront wigs…Shaved heads…Big hair..Short and sleek cuts…Pinups…Full bangs…Remy and Indian brand hair…and the list goes on! Most of these new do’s that are hot right now have been around for years. Its just making its rounds into the present! Hair styles go thru a revolving door as well as fashion…its like history it just repeats its self!

What ever your personal style is, your hair is also a form of self expression! Most of the time we’ve already done so with our clothing or how we carry your self in a whole! Me personally if my hair is not done?! I just don’t feel up to part! Last i cut off my hair to be more versatile and it was the best decision ever! I can go short one minute and with the help of a good weave im long the next! It all depends on how i feel!?

There are so many different options out there so make one your own! Take risk..change the color..try a style you never did before…if you like short hair go long! Make sure your hair and ensemble tells a story about you without words! Embrace your inner and outer beauty ladies! “When you look good you feel good!”….
