This week on the mainstream charts, Keri Hilson and Lil Wayne are rocking the Billboards with their club banging single, ‘Turnin’ Me On.’ That track has been on the charts for a little over 10 weeks and is at the top of the list putting last week’s prior Jamie Foxx’s ‘Blame It’ down to number 4. The Polow Da Don produced track has gained a lot of attention as Hilson’s name is still on the rise. It’s quite obvious that if you add Wayne into the mix, that single will turn into a hit within a short period of time. Quite an interesting song especially since it’s on a Polow beat, I mean the man has literally conquered his own criteria within a short time span. Hilson better stick to what’s been given to her, she’s getting some of the hottest beats from two of the biggest producers in the game right now, Polow Da Don and Timbaland, hence the joint venture with Zone 4 and Mosley.

The second spot on the charts has been snatched by Jay-Z’s lady, who was recently at the Oscars where she graced the stage with Hugh Jackman doing a musical medley of movie melodies. Besides being a majorly sought out movie actress, Beyonce is also a best seller when it comes to albums and singles. ‘Diva’ is literally killing airplay for the past 9 weeks that it has graced the charts. The song gets irritating after a while, but fans seem to love it and well, the general public speaks for itself. It is quite obvious that Hov had a hand in that song; it has Jay-Z written all over it. Either way she’s still doing her thing and keeping at it, the top doesn’t seem so bad.

In limbo between Jamie and Beyonce is another R&B vocalist, The Dream, his hit single off his new album is killing the charts. ‘Rockin’ That Thang’ has ranked in as number 3 just under ‘Diva.’ The Radio Killa is definitely running his nickname quite well with the recent tracks we’ve been hearing from him, his airplay is over the top. You can’t knock him for always making them hits, he’s doing it. Between production and lyrical matter, his new album is going to be crazy.

And of course, another sought out actor who also has a niche for music is literally killing the charts. Jamie Foxx has three hit singles in constant rotation on the charts leveling between one and 5 every single week. ‘Blame It’ is at number 4, while just under is the Louis Vuitton Don’s ‘Heartless’ at number 5, Kanye tops Jamie’s ‘She Got Her Own’ featuring the talents of Ne-Yo and Fabolous peaking in at number 6. Right under that after you skip over Bobby Valentino’s track ‘Beep’ with assistance from Joc, Jamie peaks in again with the T.I. assisted song ‘Just Like Me.’

The newly appointed President of A&R at Koch continues his reign as number 9 as it did so last week. Ron Browz put together a certified club banger for the streets, added Juelz Santana and now we seem to ‘Pop Champagne’ like it’s a hobby. Jim Jones has always been known to make those hits that last throughout a whole quarter, he did once with ‘Ballin,’ there was no telling when he was going to do it again. It was a good move on his part to run with Browz on this very popular club single. You got to give him mad credit for that.

The R&B vixen, Keyshia Cole, takes the bottom of the charts peaking in at number 10 with her interesting single ‘You Complete Me.’ After being on the charts for a little over 10 weeks, the song is still buzzing on the radio and in the clubs. Keyshia has always been able to keep all eyes on her, I can’t complain, she really does her thing. Let’s wait and see, maybe next week she might just blow the roof off.

FYI, Flo Rida’s hit single ‘Right Round’ is on fire on the Pop 100 as well as the Billboard Top 100 reigning in at number 1 on both. Being that he’s sold over 630,000 digital downloads in one week, I’m not surprised. Between this new track and ‘Low,’ it is a definite cross over, we are literally dealing with a versatile international superstar, you can never underestimate the talents of Flo Rida, he just might prove you wrong. Be on the lookout for the video of ‘Right Round’ as it is on the verge of release within the next upcoming weeks.

This week’s number 1 album is interestingly, Bobby Valentino’s ‘The Rebirth.’ I’m surprised he beat out Jamie Foxx’s ‘Intuition’ that was number one last week. ‘The Rebirth’ beat out India.Arie’s ‘Testimony Vol. 2 Love & Politics,’ and Jamie’s ‘Intuition.’ As they both ranked in at 2 and 3.

Congratulations to all artists who graced the Billboards for this week.
