DJ Nando,38, who is a popular Atlanta strip club DJ/tastemaker, was pronounced dead after being shot in the head outside of his home in Clayton County, GA. The DJ real name is William Fernando Barnes and his death has impacted the hip hop community.
A woman who lives close by the incident by the name is Cindy Copeland reported that she heard a “very large bang” about 3:30 a.m. Copeland explained that she thought the power went out, so she checked her clock and that it wasnt a power outage. Copeland also said, what grabbed her attention was about 4 o’clock when she heard an hysterical woman, on her phone, walking up and down the street, yelling, ‘My baby My baby.' After listening to her, I realized, there’s five or six police cars out here, and that’s when I started realizing something very serious has happened down our street here.”

DJ Nando worked at several popular Atlanta adult entertainment clubs, including Onyx and Magic City. He was also a member of an Atlanta based DJ partnership known as the “Coalition DJs”.
