We’re shocked right now, after having checked our Twitter feed and seeing a post from Basketball Wives star Royce Reed claiming that she has quit the show. Reed posted a message on her Twitter page this afternoon, writing “Good Afternoon! As of right now I have decided NOT 2return 4 Season 4 of BBW due 2 artistic differences. Things may change but as of now, NO!” She followed up later by writing “I want to thank all my fans for your support.” It’s no secret that the relationships between Royce and almost all the other women on the show have unraveled to the point of non-existence (as of the reunion, she told us she was still close with Tami, and kept in touch occasionally with Suzie) and she didn’t appear in several episodes from season three. We figured Meeka wouldn’t be back for another season (although that has yet to be confirmed, too), but we’re blindsided by the news that Royce might be gone. If she’s serious about leaving, what do you think: Smart move on her part, or will you miss that special Royce attitude she added to the show?
