#SISTERHOODOFHIPHOP Episode 3 & 4 Recap
Finally something juicy happening on this show. I told ya’ll from the beginning the show was moving kinda of slow and it didn’t help that Diamond was trying her hardest to drum up some fake drama for some airtime. #ByeFelicia
Moving right along, here’s a brief recap on episode 3 just for the hell of it. Nye’miah agrees to go on a date with Grammy nominated R&B Singer/Actor Mack Wilds and we finally get some incite on who Nye’miah the woman really is. We saw the vulnerable side of her. Diamond stay coming for Nye’miah’s neck, but until she becomes relavant we’ll just ignore Barney the purple dinosaur. Siya, as usual is having problems with her girlfriend and of course Diamond finds a way to make this about Scrappy. NEW STORYLINE PLEASE! On the other side of the table Siya is having problems with her label and label head Tank, which leads to a tense meeting. I think Siyah’s friend is jumping the gun in this meeting with Tank and could even mess it up for her, if she’s not careful. As I sit here watching Diamond shooting new visuals for her image I can’t help but to think what cheap boutiques these clothes came from. We need to hear some music asap.
As episode 3 ends and 4 begins we see Nye’miah seems to have gotten caught in Diamonds crossfire. Apparently Diamond with all her knowledge and Grammys on her mantle (shade) feels like Nye’miah and her dancers at her performance were dusty and that Brianna Perry should’ve been the headliner. Personally I think Diamond is mad because Nye’miah didn’t know who the hell she was. If anything that said more about Diamond’s career, or lack there of. It’s been 10 years, it’s about time she drops a new hit and stop talking about what she did 500 years ago. NEXT!
While Siya played peacemaker, Brianna and her Momager Kiki prepared for a big meeting with her label Atlantic Records to discuss her next move and vision for her project. We finally get to see Bia in action for a little as she shoots a visual for one of records. I’m still not buying into her as an artist yet. While shooting she gets a call from her little sister Trini. Apparently Trini was suspended for fighting.
As Brianna and her Momager head into the meeting I can already tell this going to head in the wrong direction. Momager Kiki immediately jumps in and controls the meeting, did you see the horror on Brianna’s face? Hilarious! Brianna wants to move full force with her project, and what does Kiki do? She says exactly what Brianna asked her not to say about taking their time and taking it slow. She goes on to insult the stylist the label has hired for Brianna’s imaging for her project. You can tell Brianna is telling Momager Kiki telepathically “Shut up”! Lol, I like these two, it’s an authentic mother/daughter relationship.
